This is probably the easiest way to get up to Pilatus Kulm.
The route is very runnable. This is probably the route to Pilatus that spreads the height gain among more kilometres. Net running time was 3h23 minutes so that was an average pace of 8kmh.
The route is often used by mountainbikers. Pretty much all of the route are dual trail agricultural paths.
There are no technical or exposed areas worthy of mention.
To note that the first 4 kilometres from Alpnachstadt train station are sadly asphalt.
The recommended normal hiking time for this route is 8 h 25 min if you hike both up and down
Brunnen Stoos Fronalpstock is similarly runnable
