08:30 Arribem a l'estació superior del telefèric ens carreguem les motxilles i ens preparem per sortir en direcció al Gemmipass. Hi ha molta gent que sembla que va a fer la via ferrada, així que decidim apretar el pas per no fer massa cua darrere la gent.
08:37 Passem el Gemmipass i comencem el descens com si tornéssim a la base del telefèric, però hem d'estar a l'aguait per una desviació a la dreta per agafar la via ferrada.
08:40 Ens desviem per on no tocava i reculem per tornar al camí principal per baixar una mica més.
08:45 Ara si, agafem el trencall correcte a la dreta, i comencem a resseguir el peu de la paret. A partir d'aquest punt el track és poc fiable, ja que les parets verticals causen interferència amb el senyal de GPS.
09:00 Ja estem pujats als primers cables, comencen en horitzontal. Una mica més endavant torna a ser un tros de camí fins que tornem a trobar els següents cables, ara sí que comença a ser vertical.
09:45 Arribem al peu de l'escala més llarga que hem vist mai. Aquesta enfila per una paret molt vertical i passa pel costat d'una bandera suïssa de mida considerable.
10:07 Arribem a una planícia amb una marca que sembla un cim (Obere Freiheit 2345m) amb el seu llibre i tot. Però la ferrada continua, així que seguim cables amunt i anem passant zones i paisatges increïbles.
11:00 La via ferrada s'endinsa a la paret per un gran forat i puja per dins un túnel amb ponts i extraploms.
11:25 Tornem a estar a l'aire lliure i seguim amunt.
12:05 Arribem al que sembla el final de la ferrada, veiem un QR per fer donatius als muntadors de la via ferrada. Però quan aixequem el cap veiem que això continua!, anem alternant algun tros de camí amb alguna escala i cable.
13:14 Fem el cim i comencem a baixar pel camí que baixa pel besant oposat. És un camí llarg, però evident que ens porta de tornada al telefèric.
14:55 Després de creuar un túnel-bunker que passa per dins la roca, arribem al Telefèric i baixem cap a casa.


Notes: És una ruta de via ferrada llarga en una zona alpina. És important tenir l'equipació adequada i tenir bona tècnica.

08:30 We arrive at the upper station of the cable car, setup our backpacks and prepare to leave towards the Gemmipass. There are a lot of people who seem to be going to do the via ferrata, so we decide to do a fast approach so as not to queue too much behind the people.
08:37 We pass the Gemmipass and begin the descent as if we were returning to the base of the cable car, but we have to be on the lookout for a deviation to the right to go to the via ferrata.
08:40 We deviate where we shouldn't and backtrack a bit to return to the main path to go down a little more.
08:45 Now, we take the correct deviation to the right, and we begin to follow the foot of the wall. From this point on, the track is unreliable, since the vertical walls cause interference with the GPS signal.
09:00 We are already attaching to the first cables, they start horizontally. A little further on it's a bit of a walk again until we find the next cables, now it starts to be more vertical.
09:45 We arrive at the foot of the longest ladder we've ever seen. This one climbs a very vertical wall and passes by a considerabely big Swiss flag.
10:07 We arrive at a plain with a mark that looks like a peak (Obere Freiheit 2345m) with its own book and everything. But the ferrata continues, so we follow the cables up and pass incredible areas and landscapes.
11:00 The via ferrata enters the wall through a large hole and goes up a tunnel with bridges and overhangs inside.
11:25 We're back in the open air and continue up.
12:05 We arrive at what seems to be the end of the ferrata, we see a QR to make donations to the via ferrata builders. But when we look ahead we see that this continues!, we alternate some part of the path with some ladders and cable.
13:14 We reach the summit and start to descend along the path that goes down the opposite side. It is a long but clear path, it takes us back to the cable car.
14:55 After crossing a bunker tunnel that goes through the rock, we reach the cable car and descend towards home.

Notes: It is a long via ferrata in an alpine area. It is important to have the right equipment and have good technique.
