Erve - Ferrata Centenario - Ferrata De Franco Silvano - Ferrata Caminetto (bus della carlotta) - Erve

Park at the end of Erve (5 euro day). Otherwise, a km before the parking is free.

Head North following the only route. Cross two bridges, head for Fonte San Carlo and from here, start your climb. The route will take you to Rifugio Alpinisti Monza, where you can stop for a drink and snack. Now, head for passo di Foo where you'll find labels for Ferrata Centenario.

The ferrata is quite vertical but there are artificial steps in abundance (maybe too much!). There is nothing special to be aware of, you'll end up few hundreds away from the "normale" resegone n.1.

Head for the fork at the n.1, then go down few hundreds meter and then start a steep climb that will bring you to the start of the De Franco Silvano.

The De Franco Silvano is quite challenging, requiring lots of arm traction in several spots. There are two emergency exits just in case. And there are two main difficult passages. The first is at the end of the first part, while the second is briefly after the second half starts. The Ferrata is phisical challenging, but since it's not crowded, you can take your time and do it at your pace.

You'll end up straight next to the top of one of the Resegone summits, near Azzoni Hut. Stop there for lunch, a beer or a snack.

Then, start the descent. Follow the steps under the Azzoni hut, following the N.1 route. You'll eventually reach back the fork just after the arrive of the Centenario Ferrata. Go towards it, then turn left to follow the third Ferrata: Caminetto (or Bus dèla Carlotta, it's more a challenging route with a chain).

Descend the Ferrata, there are few difficult passages and be aware if the terrain is wet, but it mostly proceed quite steep down back to the Foo.

Turn left back to Rifugio Alpini Monza, then continue down until you reach a fork for Sentiero Di Ràt". It's a steep descent but easy compared to any descent of the day :)

You'll eventually reach out back Erve.

The GPS track is quite inaccurate, worse than usual in tracking the Via Ferrate. Total D+ is more like 1200, anyway the hike is quite challenging.
