Park at Somana (Mandello del Lario), follow the "via crucis" that leads you to a nice church. From here continue the hike, and be ready to turn left in a steep and long route. It is advised to have the Via Ferrata kit, and to wear it as soon as you see the first chain. There will be few difficult passages, including the climbing of two ladders, almost near the summit of Zucco di Sileggia. After reaching the top, continue straight on and start the descent. Follow "Alpe D'Era" and be prepared for some paths not well labeled on GPS maps. When you reach Alpe D'Era, you will follow the river, and at some point you will find the start of "sentiero del Fiume". Turn left to start it, also here it is advised to have the ferrata kit, since the chains are usually wet. The path crosses multiple times the river, have a look at CAI labels very carefully. At the end, you will reach again Somana, and thus your parked car.
