The hike is mostly moderate, but there is one steep descent down from the viewpoint to the confluence of two streams into the Crna Reka (Black River), that could be classified as difficult. That is definitely the hardest part of the hike. I would not recommend it (if going in the same direction we did), when it has been raining heavily or there is snow/ice - the descent would be very steep and slippery. It might be a little better going in the opposite direction if you're facing those conditions.
You will see mountain meadows, coniferous forest, deciduous forest, vikendicas and holiday apartments (less than I anticipated). A very nice mix. The hardest part (around Crna Reka protected area), has some of the nicest scenery.
You can start the hike from any point in the loop. You could also do this hike in two parts to shorten it. Start in the middle of Divcibare and to the east side as one hike and the west as another. Or select start/end points and have someone drop you off and pick you up.
What's different from the hike in the book?: We changed the start point, cut out some of the in-town bits and the Ljuti Krs summit. At one point in the Crna Reka protected area couldn't find the trail, so had to take a slightly different way. So we didn't do six summits, only four or five, depending on how you count (we passed Kraljev Sto without realising). There is a sign after you've come up the ravine from crossing Crna Reka to 'Ljuti Krs' (claiming only 10 minutes to get there), so you could add that to this hike easily - but at almost 17 km already, we were ready to head into town for a post hike beer!
Enjoy :)

Panorama
There is supposed to be a trail around here heading down, we couldn't find it and spent some time trying to find the way before choosing an alternative path ...

Cross exactly here
This bit can be confusing. You need to have both forks of the stream to your right. Then you will see the trail markings on the trees higher up. If you cross a bit higher you will end up on the wrong path.

Cross the road and head generally left through the fields.
There are trail markings for most of this - and you can go most of the way to Kraljev Sto through the fields - closer to Kraljev Sto you need to walk on the road.

This is one of prettiest trails around broader Belgrade area. We did (some 2/3 of) it in late October, when autumn shows it colors; ferns in the Kamenica river valley then form thick golden carpets (frankly, I did not know that ferns turn gold, I had only seen them green until then).
P.S. I love your trails, both for selection of places to go and presentation. Keep up on good work!
Thank you Duya for the positive feedback!
