Léchère - Petit Col Ferret

Parking at the bridge over la Dranse de Ferret - exit the route to Ferret few hundred meters after passing Les Granges. Turn left into a yellow trail following la Dranse on the West side. Soon the white-red-white trail to Petit Col Ferret will fork to the right. You'll pass Gîte de la Léchère and then bergerie Léchère Dessus. From there long final stretch to the Petit Col Ferret. Trail marks covered with snow. From Taves du Dolent I was keeping to the bottom of the combe rather than trying to follow the trail. Return by the same route.
From the pass I did a little reconnaissance looking out for the passing to Grand Col Ferret on the Italian side - finally decided to back off.
Duration: 4h
Conditions: sunny, trails up to Crêtet de la Perche covered with frozen snow and ice, then progressively snow deepens to over 30 cm. I should've taken snowshoes. Lots of wind coming down from the pass.
Difficulty: T3, on the easy end of the spectrum.
