Old Bells of Goris trail

This hiking trail is the one from where " The Legend's trail " starts. ( Тропа легенд , Լեգենդների արահետ ).

It starts from the monument "Bells of Goris" ( Գորիսի զանգեր )on the highway and leads you to old Goris city. ( Հին Գորիս ).

The route is full of amazing sceneries of Goris caves and stone columns.

Some information about the trail.

--- The first half of the trail you hike by 4 x 4 vehicle traces, the second half is a tiny path and it's important to have a navigation app, as there are more than a 1 path around, which makes finding the right way more confusing.

--- This trail is blazed by Transcaucasian Trail ( Տրնանսկովկասյան արահետ ), so you'll find waypoints on the way.
The waypoints vanish, so I suggest having GPS to be on the safe side.

--- The route leads you to old Goris, so take into consideration that after completing it you have about 1-2 km more to get to Goris city.

--- The best season for this trail is mid April, May, October.
Season starts from May till the end of November (till snow blocked the path).
