Caminada des del refugi Crespi al Parc Natural de Madonie per fer el sender dels boixos gegants.
És una caminada de 6,5 km on vurem roures centenaris, faigs excepcionals, boixos gegants i amb formes inversemblants, farem un cim al Cozzo Luminario de 1512 mts d'alçada caminant en mig de vaques. També vam tenir la sort de veure un grup de cabres salvatges.
Uns boscos i uns arbres espectaculars.

Route is very accurate. Get to starting point from the app using Waze. It took us less time, about 1:30 hours. From the refuge to piano como to cozzo luminario and back to refuge. Simple circular route.

Très belle randonnée, très variée. Beaux points de vue, beaux paysages, et surtout cette incroyable forêt de houx géants et chênes centenaires. Merci d'avoir partagé cette trace (très précise et qui nous a été bien utile).

Premetto che non avendo connessione a un certo punto, al punto denominato Prat, anziché salire verso la croce ho proseguito il sentiero tracciato facendo un percorso differente e un po' più lungo, per poi ricongiungere più avanti. Salendo ho avuto un incontro inaspettato con un grosso cervo che mi è praticamente balzato in mezzo al sentiero, ma che è fuggito prima che lo potessi fotografare, poi con un gruppo di altri tre che ho fotografato da lontano.
Il posto è una meravigliosa delle meraviglie, il sentiero è sempre tracciato da dei segni di vernice sui sassi di quanto in quanto.

Beautiful hike in the freshness of the woods that offers many different types of landscapes. Views were amazing up to the Eolian islands and even Etna. We encountered many deers along the way. Huge holy trees were an unique sight! The best hike in the area according to an inhabitant of Castelbuono.
